Choose water over fizzy-sugary drinks
Don't keep sugary drinks in the house
Use fresh fruit to add flavor to your water
Limit fruit juice to 150ml portion sizes or, even better, dilute it with water so you’re consuming even less
Choose eggs (which have a lot of protein) over sugary cereals. Try them scrambled, poached, sunny-side up, or even in an omelette.
Use the natural sweetness in your ingredients, like fruit, instead of added sugar.
Make smoothies for breakfast! Use combinations of fruit, oats, nuts, and seeds to make the perfect blended treat.

Save indulgent treats for the weekend or special occasions.
Create fruit kabobs and dunk them into a little dessicated coconut or homemade fruit pureés for a sweet treat.
